Discover why over 60,000 cat owners have switched to ceramic drinking fountains

Dear cat friend,

Imagine: Every day you give your cat water from a fountain that secretly ruins its health. Without knowing it, you fill a source day after day with countless bacteria, dangerous chemicals, and hidden toxins.

Does that sound frightening? It is.

What many cat owners don't know: Plastic drinking fountains can be true breeding grounds for germs and cause serious health problems:

  • Painful skin inflammations, especially common chin acne
  • Persistent infections that are expensive to treat
  • Hormonal disorders caused by released plasticizers
  • Kidney and urinary tract problems due to reduced drinking behavior

This can lead to the following problems:

  • Your cat shows strange skin changes or drinks less than before
  • You have already replaced several plastic fountains because they became unsightly or contaminated
  • You clean the plastic fountain almost daily, but that slimy film keeps coming back
  • The fountain smells unpleasant, no matter how much you scrub

Do you know that feeling? Then you are not alone!

There is a solution – one that veterinarians have been recommending for years, but the industry doesn't want to tell you about.

This solution has not only helped my cat but also thousands of others. It is simple, effective, and saves you a lot of money and worries in the long run.

Do you finally want to eliminate the problem of unhygienic, health-hazardous plastic drinking fountains once and for all?

Then definitely keep reading – because what I'm about to show you could change your cat's life...

This is my cat Luna.

Today, Luna is a healthy, happy cat who has been drinking from a high-quality ceramic drinking fountain for years and no longer has skin problems or infections.

I can confidently offer her fresh, clean water and have 100% trust that she is well taken care of.

But believe me, it wasn't always like that!

Why?

Let me tell you a short story about how Luna came into my life.

I adopted Luna from the animal shelter three years ago. She was thin, had scruffy fur, and suffered from a persistent chin acne – small black dots and inflamed spots on the chin.

The vet told me that this is often caused by plastic bowls and drinking fountains, as bacteria settle in the inevitable micro-scratches.

Still, I bought her a plastic drinking fountain because I didn't want to spend much money and thought all drinking fountains were basically the same.

But what happened next opened my eyes...

Not only did Luna's chin acne not disappear, it even got worse!

Even more disturbing was that the plastic fountain developed a slimy biofilm after just a few days, which kept forming again and again despite daily cleaning.

I quickly understood why: The surface of the plastic was already scratched during cleaning with a sponge, providing the perfect breeding ground for bacteria.

I was constantly scrubbing, disinfecting, and scrubbing again – and yet the fountain quickly smelled unpleasant and looked slimy.

Luna started drinking less, which worried me a lot because cats already drink too little and are therefore prone to kidney and urinary tract problems.

Until the decisive breakthrough came!

I spoke with a veterinarian, Dr. vom Stein (known from the ARD TV series "A Team for All Furs"), who explained to me that plastic fountains not only harbor bacteria but can also release harmful plasticizers and chemicals into the water – especially if the water stands in it longer or the fountain is heated (e.g., when cleaning with hot water).

She recommended a ceramic drinking fountain and explained the numerous advantages:

  • More hygienic due to the smooth, non-porous surface
  • No scratches that could harbor bacteria
  • No plasticizers or chemicals that leach into the water
  • Dishwasher safe and easy to clean
  • Durable and environmentally sustainable

I was skeptical because of the higher price, but decided to buy a high-quality ceramic drinking fountain.

The result was ASTONISHING!

Luna's chin acne completely disappeared within a few weeks.

The ceramic fountain practically developed no biofilm and remained clean and odorless even after several days.

Cleaning was easy – often a quick wipe was enough, and once a week a thorough cleaning in the dishwasher.

And the best part: Luna started drinking more again!

I was amazed that something so simple could make such a big difference!

After this experience, I began to dive deeper into the topic and thoroughly researched the scientific background. What I found shocked me – and at the same time confirmed my experiences.

I had not only improved Luna's life but probably extended it as well!

And after all my research and experience, I have compiled the most important findings to share with other cat owners who might have the same problem and don't know the risks that plastic drinking fountains pose.

Here are the alarming facts every cat owner should know:

1. Plastic drinking fountains are bacteria breeding grounds

  • Plastic scratches extremely easily – even during normal cleaning
  • In these micro-scratches, bacteria, biofilms, and even molds settle
  • These microorganisms can lead to infections, chin acne, and gastrointestinal problems
  • Even with diligent scrubbing, bacteria remain in the scratches

2. Plasticizers and chemicals dissolve into the drinking water

  • Many plastic fountains contain BPA and phthalates that leach into the water
  • These substances can disrupt hormone balance and strain the liver, kidneys, and other organs
  • Heat worsens the problem – hot water for cleaning releases even more chemicals
  • Longer standing water increases the release of these toxins

3. Plastic absorbs odors and tastes

  • Plastic absorbs unpleasant odors over time
  • These odors remain even after cleaning
  • Cats with their sensitive sense of smell drink less from odor-contaminated vessels
  • Drinking less leads to dehydration and increased risk of kidney problems and urinary stones

4. The hidden cost factor

  • Plastic fountains need to be replaced much more often due to scratches, discoloration, and odors
  • The follow-up costs due to more frequent veterinary visits because of infections, skin problems, and kidney diseases
  • The increased time required for cleaning (must be cleaned daily, while ceramic fountains only need care every few days)

The solution: ceramic drinking fountains – the healthy alternative

Ceramic drinking fountains offer significant advantages over plastic models for your cat's health and well-being:

Hygienic and safe:

  • Pore-free, smooth surface prevents bacterial colonization
  • No plasticizers or chemicals that could leach into the water
  • Scratch-resistant even with intensive cleaning
  • Naturally antimicrobial – some models even have special antimicrobial glazes

Durable and low maintenance:

  • Years of durability without loss of quality
  • Dishwasher safe and heat resistant
  • Easy to clean – often just a quick wipe is enough
  • No odor absorption – remains odor-neutral even after long use

Promotes healthy drinking behavior:

  • Cats are proven to drink more water from clean, odor-free vessels
  • Prevents kidney diseases and urinary tract problems
  • Stable weight prevents tipping and spilling
  • Aesthetically pleasing – fits into any home decor

But that's not all...

For everyone thinking now: "Sounds good, but a ceramic drinking fountain must be expensive!"

Here are the bare numbers:

A high-quality ceramic drinking fountain costs on average 60-80 euros. At first glance, that may seem more than the 20-30 euros for a plastic fountain.

BUT: A plastic fountain must be replaced every 6-12 months due to scratches, discoloration, and bacterial contamination. A ceramic fountain easily lasts 5-10 years or longer with proper care!

And that doesn't even take into account the potential vet costs for treating:

  • Chin acne (approx. 50-100 € per treatment)
  • Urinary tract infections (approx. 100-200 € per treatment)
  • Kidney problems (up to several thousand euros)

Here are real testimonials from cat owners who have switched to ceramic drinking fountains:

So far the best cat fountain I have used/had. Robust material and good workmanship, and the pump is also high quality. Tenants gladly accept it, and our Maine Coon also splashes around. Clear recommendation

"Our cats have immediately accepted the fountain and also drink from it. Whether they now drink more than before, I cannot say.

If you fill the fountain nicely full, you can hardly hear it at all.

We chose the orange mat, we like it very much!"

"My cat “Cookie” already showed great interest during the assembly. When the water finally ran, she drank, drank … 10 minutes straight. My concern that she wouldn’t drink has now finally been resolved."

We hesitated a bit about spending over 50 euros on a cat fountain - but now it's definitely worth it!
The fountain is stylish and the ceramic is even much nicer to look at than a metal bowl.

But first the most important thing: our cat (a British Shorthair) drinks a lot from this fountain! Since cats instinctively prefer running water to standing water, this fountain perfectly satisfies that instinct!
About the fountain itself: it IS QUIET!!! It can happen that shortly after cleaning some air is still in the pump, but after at most 30 seconds it has escaped on its own and you hear almost nothing except a deep, sonorous, and above all barely noticeable humming. Our fountain is in the living room and when we're not watching TV but reading a book, even then this humming is in no way disturbing - REALLY!!!
The fountain should be cleaned every 2-3 days: turn off the pump, remove the lid and rinse briefly, empty and wash the bowl, because after about 3 days a slight slimy algae film forms (probably algae...!?), open and clean the pump (including the pump screw) and then reassemble everything and fill with water (max. up to the mark, otherwise water may leak under the lid at the edge of the bowl)!

Caution: the short hose between the pump and the fountain opening must not be kinked, otherwise no or hardly any water flows!!!
You get into a routine from the second cleaning onwards!
A little tip: to not forget cleaning after a few weeks of use, just schedule regular cleaning - we clean on the two D-days during the week and on one of the S-days on the weekend... :-) Works!

Takes about 5 minutes - if you don't want to invest this time, maybe you shouldn't get a pet ;-)
Advantage: you don't have to buy replacement filters like with some other fountains!
Conclusion: Practical, quiet, and for the cat's well-being - UNCONDITIONAL PURCHASE RECOMMENDATION!

Nils the 317th.

Some time ago, I bought the Lucky Kitty Drinking Fountain for my two cats after I noticed they weren't drinking enough water. What started as a simple solution to a health problem has turned into one of the best purchases I've ever made for my pets.

Assembling the fountain was incredibly easy. Within a few minutes, everything was ready to go, and the gentle splashing of the water began to pique my cats' interest. It didn't take long before they started drinking curiously from the fountain. Since then, their water intake has increased significantly, which is a great benefit for their health.

What I particularly like about the Lucky Kitty Drinking Fountain is the design. It is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. The fountain blends seamlessly into the home decor and does not look out of place at all. The ceramic material from which the fountain is made emphasizes the high quality and ensures that the product is durable and easy to clean. A simple wipe is enough, and the fountain looks like new again.

Another decisive advantage of this drinking fountain is that it operates very quietly. Unlike other products I have tried in the past, the Lucky Kitty Drinking Fountain makes hardly any noise, which both my cats and I greatly appreciate. No annoying humming or buzzing – just the soothing sound of flowing water.

The capacity of the fountain is also impressive. It holds enough water so that I don't have to refill constantly, which is especially convenient when I'm away from home for a few days. My cats always have access to fresh, flowing water, which gives me a great deal of peace of mind.

In summary, I can say that the Lucky Kitty Drinking Fountain is a fantastic investment for any cat owner who cares about the well-being of their furry friends. It not only promotes health by encouraging cats to drink, but also offers a stress-free solution for the owners. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Lucky Kitty Drinking Fountain – a product that both my cats and I no longer want to be without.
